Statics

How Statics works

Athletes perform a 45 second routine consisting of difficult static holds and power dynamic skills. All athletes compete in a 45-second qualifier round. The top four athletes move on to a Head-to-Head finals bracket, consisting of two back-to-back 45-second rounds.

Athletes earn points by performing skills, linking skills into combinations, completing difficult transitions, and executing creative variations. All skills are assessed from the USCCO Code of Points, in which judges verify skills and deduct for improper form.
